AI in Education: A Smarter Way of Learning?

    Education is one of the oldest systems, but AI is giving it a new face. Education plays a crucial role in our life. Proper education shapes one's bright future. Over the course of the past decade , there have been changes in almost everything; except for the education system. We can integrate AI in the EdTech field so as to make the course much more interactive and fun.

    AI can do wonders if integrated with education. It can help students in their struggles; for example, 24x7 doubt solving, personalised course explanation. AI has been in continuous use for a couple of years or more. But there's still left crucial advancements in its use. There can be a learning platform where AI detects the students' capability to understand and personalise the course accordingly.

    But it has its own downsides too. Students might start heavily relying on AI, weakening their critical thinking skills. As of now many students heavily rely on many AI tools such as 'ChatGPT'. The platform should be specifically designed to help students learn instead of just giving out answers. Also AI can sometimes give wrong answers.

    In my opinion, students should have the freedom to brainstorm with AI but not heavily rely on it for their work. This will ensure they have proper guidance while they do their work mostly on their own.
